On May 19, the event kicked off at the French Embassy in New Delhi with the Indo-French Space Conference, featuring a high-level CEO meet and strategic roundtables. H.E. Mr. Thierry Mathou, Ambassador of France to India, inaugurated the conference alongside senior officials from India’s IN-SPACe, CNES, and Safran. Discussions focused on leveraging Indo-French synergies to serve global space markets and exploring government and private sector strategies in both countries’ space industries.
On May 30, the delegation visited Agnikul Cosmos and IIT Madras Research Park in Chennai, gaining insights into Tamil Nadu’s vibrant space-tech ecosystem. Presentations by TIDCO and the VANAAM Cluster highlighted the state’s innovation-driven aerospace initiatives. The day concluded with the French Space Night Chennai, a networking dinner fostering connections between French and Indian industrial stakeholders.
On May 21, the delegates toured Manastu Space and Nelco in Mumbai to explore collaboration in satellite communication and propulsion technologies. The evening’s French Space Night Mumbai, held at the French Consulate Residence, brought together aerospace and defense leaders from the region to discuss future partnerships.
The final day featured personalized business programs in Hyderabad and Bengaluru with targeted technical meetings and site visits to premier aerospace innovation hubs including SkyRoot Aerospace, Dhruva Space, XDLINX, Kaleideo, and Kepler. These interactions provided the French delegation with firsthand exposure to India’s cutting-edge developments in satellite launchers, propulsion, and space systems.
The 2025 French Space Days reaffirmed the robust, decades-long partnership between France and India in space exploration and technology.
